I think I read in the forum someone suggesting to make blobs and draw over them, so that’s what I did here! These were a lot of fun and it made me use shapes I never would’ve chosen on my own. Just wanted to share! My husband wanted to try, too, so one of his is included here. 😄

I finally finished my alphabet series today. It was a good experience, and I think I'll re-visit it some year in the future. I highly suggest it for anyone looking for a small(ish) series to use for practice.

I'm still working away on my vehicle design final. I'm at the stage where I have to figure out how to paint moss.
This is the look I'm going for...

I drew the truck on paper and added the rabbits in procreate after I got my new apple pencil. WHICH I LOVE!!!!! So choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up😜. Can you tell the difference in the pencil line? I can't. 😃 [happy dancing]

            This made me laugh.

@Coreyartus Your alphabet looks awesome! I love how you picked some really unique subjects, like tayberries and quoll. I've never heard of those! Congrats on finishing that project!

@burvantill This is SO cute! I love the lil rabbits down by the front bumper. I would not have guessed the rabbits and truck were drawn differently. Procreate simulates traditional mediums really well!

So far, the most effective technique I've personally discovered for drawing moss is a bunch of random scribbling, haha. Definitely all ears if there's a more... precise method.

@baileymvidler Thanks so much! I learned so much finding those unusual things--I had never heard of a Uakari, a quoll, a yellowhammer, nor of Xigua. It was fun!

@burvantill I am so excited you got a Pencil!!!! You're going to LOVE it!! The brushes in Procreate literally come alive with that thing! Have fun exploring!! Your automobile is charming--it has a lot of character!

@Coreyartus Thankyou! You are so right about the brushes. Night and day difference having the pressure sensitivity. 😃

Hi everyone, new here. I did this to practice a little bit with photoshop, still looking to find my way using brushes and feeling comfortable, hope you like it.

First time sharing...😬 I’ve been working on trying to draw human characters better...expressions, hands, feet...everything. Lots of studying and redrawing. Here’s my most recent girl...

Got my first Illustration job for a furniture store. I designed this character based on an actual person who works at the store. He is known as the price slasher.

@MissMushy I hear ya. My art life has come to a stop, too. Nothing going on for me but work (day job) and stress. I was able to join last month's contest prompt because I was able to stay at home, but now I'm back to work it's just a whirlwind again and I haven't drawn a thing in weeks. But I don't think we will have totally lost the skills we gained once we're able to make art again. We still learned what we learned, and I hope that with a little practice (when we're able to again) our skills will come back more quickly than when we were first trying to develop them. Just hang in there, do what needs to be done with the demands in your life. Art will be there when you can come back to it again. And for me too, when I can.

I'll meet ya on the other side of this stressful time, eh? We can draw some stuff 🙂
