      Your concept art's amazing- I loved looking at your portfolio! I'm new to illustration myself, and don't have any more advice to offer than you've gotten already. For my own portfolio, I only have children's book illustrations, because that's what I want to be hired for. But I've seen illustrators who have multiple skill sets use separate tabs to show each of them, like Nyrryl suggested.
      Hopefully other illustrators can chime in with more advice. Good luck and congrats on your book!!

      I like the render quality in the background and the lava in the paws, but i think that most of the problems are with the fundamentals of the drawing. The anatomical structure of the lion is kinda off and i think that you are shooting yourself in the foot while trying a complicated perspective for a piece that is really demanding on textures and lighting. Its obvious the amount of love you put in a project, but i think that your focus should be on the foundations rather than the finishing touches.
