@Georgios-Christopoulos In fact I liked the first image you posted best, as it looked cleaner and really comic book.

I like the render quality in the background and the lava in the paws, but i think that most of the problems are with the fundamentals of the drawing. The anatomical structure of the lion is kinda off and i think that you are shooting yourself in the foot while trying a complicated perspective for a piece that is really demanding on textures and lighting. Its obvious the amount of love you put in a project, but i think that your focus should be on the foundations rather than the finishing touches.

she look so cute!! and just a little thing, but the ears in the first pose are a bit to high, also the left pocket on her backside is a bit to much to the right side. also I really love how you rendered her her at the last post! looks so fluffy and beautiful!

Great job! I love how your characters turned out. This was fun for me to see as I'm in the middle of this class right now! The class really is helpful and I feel more confident having a process to follow for character design. Thanks for sharing!

@miranda-hoover Thank you for the feedback!
I showed the drawing to a few family members and, from a distance, they couldn't make out where his arm was either; I think I need to put more effort into making sure the design remains visible/readable throughout the image, as all the small details of his arm really make it congested in certain areas, I think.

      Thanks again!

@story-paint This is really cute! It sounds like this story will be a good one 🙂 I like the simplicity and cute factor of these designs. I think they will work really nicely for a comic 😃

Hello Georgios! These characters are so cool~! It looks like they'd have a ton of fun adventure. The one thing that stood out to me was the character on the far left. His head is significantly larger than everyone else's, and though I get that he's a big character, I think if you made the head size a little smaller, he would fit a little more with the rest of the group. Right now it looks like if he was scaled down, he would have the same proportions as the character to the right of him. If you made the head smaller, it would make the rest of his body look bigger in proportion, similar to what you did with the character on the far right. Just my two cents! Thanks for sharing this fun cast of characters with us!

Hi! I've been working on the stylizing character class and on my own characters and I have really been struggling with costume design. Could you make a class on character design and how to make it fit with the time period, fit the personality of the character, and show the emotion and symbolism, and all that complicated stuff? This would be SUCH a lifesaver!!!
      Thank you!!

@demotlj Thank you for the feedback! I've changed Lucy's face, not only in terms of shadows and cheeks, but also the eyes, which I've decided would look better if they were closed. I think it's a lot better like this now.

Thank you all for the feedback! It helped me understand some notions about shadows, focus of the illustration and illustrating the faces better ♥

@AnnaDaviscourt Thanks for taking the time to do such a lovely introduction. I enjoy your work-and starting checking it out after Lee's shout-out. I'm interested in your character class--I think it might be a good fit for me this summer. I'm pretty new to this, leaning more toward comics than children's illustration-do you think the class would be applicable beyond children's illustrations?

Like you, I have dog-envy! My household isn't on board (yet!) and a person doesn't acquire a dog, the whole house does. We have 2 mature Bengal cats-which are a little like dogs but I would like some unconditional love on my timeline!

Like @demotlj (and my cats)-I'm mature in years. Improving my drawing and figuring out what I WANT to draw are the passions I'm cultivating as I edge toward retirement.

I'll check out your current class and what else you've got posted on the 'net.
