Haven’t posted because I have not arted. Here is a recent design for a Tshirt that my graphic artist friend commissioned me for.

      Pretty fun to do.

Few images from my sketchbook. Revisiting an old character of mine and my fiancé on the bed which then turned into a forest.

I did a watercolor sketch yesterday of a place near me and wanted to see how hard it would be to use it as a background for an illustration. It took a while because I was using Procreate for the characters but trying to match the style of the watercolor, and of course, I had to fit the characters into the scene instead of designing the scene around the action. All in all, it’s not the best way to work, but it was fun.

@Blitz55 I love the girl snuggling into the pine trees. Nice soft style I can see being painted in oils.

@demotlj I think it turned out really well though! I've tried to do this kind of thing and it never works out as well as yours has!

@Kristen-Lango Thanks. I don't know how useful it will be since it's going about it backwards but it is good to know it is possible.

Really trying to dig into loosening up and letting the pen do the talking… more intuitive sketching I guess. I used a sludge brush at max size to blob down some shapes, and then reduced the size of the sludge to pull from the blobs the characters I could see. 4A631E11-CC20-45BA-B7C4-799F8162EF6A.jpeg

Just a little humor to end the day...

I am reading up on how to do kickstarters and I was just looking at one that Jake Parker did. This is the last paragraph in his description,

“We would love to get this book out quickly to all our backers! However, in light of previous problems in the shipping department, I feel it necessary to make a few things clear. If you move to a new address in between the time we collect your information and the time we ship your book, please leave a forwarding address with your local post office. If you break up with your girlfriend, and you think there's a chance she may steal all your mail, please consider having it shipped to a safer address. If you're not quite sure what your address is, please don't guess. We cannot be responsible for your change of address, your angry roommates, or your own mental shortcomings. Thank you for your support!”

Freaking hilarious. That is all. Good night. =)x

@Asyas_illos Very nice work, I am toying with a second treehouse piece. I have used my drawing from the first set of sketches and stuck him up a tree. But I think I need some small characters too to make it work.

@Asyas_illos I think you could consider cropping this image from the left so everything isn't down the centre line?

@PenAndrew thanks for the feedback I’ll look into moving The characters around first before I do any cropping
