 Here's my latest Inktober illustration. Done mainly with inktense blocks and pen. The red is watercolour... I just really wanted that colour! Like most illustrations, this didn't come out the way I had it invisioned in my mind, I'll have to try again...

 @miss-beans thank you! thats probably the nicest tree i have ever drawn

 @crud42 I started some thumbnails during September but didnβt complete for all the prompts and as it turns out my ideas evolved anyway as I start the actual rough sketch. Normally, for analog ones, I sketch in colorerase pencil night before then ink the day of. I will be doing some digital ones too though cos I still need to practise to get better at that.
 No doubt I will have to change things up soon cos my October is going to get busier.

 @eli You gotta keep it simple.
 I did two SMALL ones last night because I knew I would be busy today. You can do it! I have faith in you.

 @crud42 I sketch out some ideas for the next day right after I finish inking the one for the day Iβm on. So I can dive right in when I get a free moment the next day. This has been happing in the evening. I didnβt plan it that way. Itβs happing organically.

 Day 3 & 4 for me... Honestly Inktober has been kicking my butt. I've been staying up waayyyy too late at night to finish these. I have to get a better handle on it this weekend and come up with my sketches and a plan.

 @eli Just do what you can and want to, that's my Inktober motto. Last year I got frustrated I wasn't doing one every day, life gets in the way. This year I wasn't going to do any, but ended up with a few so far. At least we can be inspired by all the great artwork being posted. Day 5. Chicken. I thought of many different things but I saw my dog Leo this morning and I knew what I had to draw.

 @sas glad you like it

 I interpreted Day 05/Chicken as Fear, and chose the begonia which symbolizes dark thoughts.

 Chicken. Decided to switch things up a bit and go with ball-point pen, which is more comfortable to me. I'll probably continue to play with different "ink" mediums, but in the spirit of getting things done, I opted for comfort over novelty today.It's so fun seeing everyone's interpretations of the prompts and all the different styles out there!
