And in the moonlight it would glow or sparkle that would be pretty.

@Braden-Hallett I like 1 and 3 better because they each give me the sense of the jumper being apprehensive. With 2 I like the perspective and composition, but I donโ€™t really feel the jumperโ€™s emotions. I read into your statement that these would be emotions of the jumper. Now they could be of the watchers but I donโ€™t experience the watchers in 2 as being anxious. Maybe a little bit impatient. I keep wanting to see someonenbiting their nails.

Iโ€™m impressed with how good all of the comps are.

I like two. You have the opportunity to see his face and how scared he is with that one.
ps, I like your thumbnail layout. It soothing to my OCD. ๐Ÿ˜œ

@Braden-Hallett I think 3 as a first person perspective it makes it that extra bit daunting. The mention of sharks in the water made me think it could be turned into a cliff dive - that would make the background more dynamic with moving water and rocks sticking out on the way down.

@Braden-Hallett I vote for two also - seems like it has much more potential for story

I vote for number 2 as well, that composition is amazing and i like that we'd see the reaction on his face!

I prefer 2 but with a more closer shot of the character ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

@nyrrylcadiz I really like the anxiety that #1 and #3 invoke. I feel like it puts the viewer right in the moment. I think #2 is the safe and reliable composition, but lacks a little in impact.

*After zooming in, I actually changed my mind a bit. When blown up, the perspective in number #2 gives a similar feeling of anxiety. So I think #2 and #3. But I still love the idea of the viewer being in the moment.

@Chip-Valecek Sharks in a pool is exactly what I was thinking of doing when the challenge was related to fear ๐Ÿ™‚ I brainstormed a bunch of ideas for 'the moment before' but kept coming back to the pool.

I may still do a version with sharks because I love the idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I wasn't thinking that #2 would be what people were drawn to ๐Ÿ™‚

I think I'll nix the 'impatient' keyword and have the audience below watching apprehensively and biting their nails. So apprehensive and vertigo will be my keywords.

I'm late to the party but I love the composition of 2. Like you've said you can do some great character reactions with the foreground characters. I'm looking forward to seeing this develop!

Here are colour comps! I liked the girders, but like the emptiness of the blue sky more.

I love the look on the jumperโ€™s face.

Are the people below in the water? If yes, why are they wearing clothes vs swimsuits?

                                  @Susan-Marks Thanks!

The people below are in the water. The boy's not wearing a shirt, and the girl's got a swimsuit onesie (or whatever it's called) and a swimming cap.

My swimming teacher always used to wear a shirt in the pool (because of the sun, I suppose) so it seemed right at the time. I'll probably put 'coach' across the back of the shirt or something to really reinforce his role ๐Ÿ™‚
