@chrisaakins Hey! A silhouette! πŸ˜ƒ And you didn't miss the class, it's still there. Waiting. Watching. Judgiiiiiiiiiing.

Seriously, though, that's an awesome mouse silhouette in ink!

I found a reference for a deer on pinterest and stuck fairly close to it with exception of not painting the crow on the deer's back . silhouette. maybe a bit of scattered light influence as well

I seem to have trouble balancing things in dark situations but here's my attempt at practicing multiple light sources. I seem to have things too dark but when I lighten it, it looks washed out or not like it's nightime. It's good to practice these things and start figuring it out 🀞 anyhow here is a combo of Moonlight and a lantern on a very full wolf. Hopefully little Red made it home!!!!!

@burvantill thanks. I just realized he has dog ears and not wolf ears lol. I mistakenly represented him as a wolf. My bad ha ha πŸ˜…

I like! I really like the super soft brush work.

Cool! Multiple light sources is REALLY hard. Most of the time I see them in photo's they don't actually influence much. They're just spots of bright in mostly darkness.

All right, ladies and gents! I think that's pretty much it!

Thanks to everyone for joining in when they could. I didn't realize that this course was QUITE so big when we started, lol.

I think I'll keep doing a mini study a day for the foreseeable future to really cement the different kinds of lighting situations we learned about.

And then at some point I'll do another class πŸ˜ƒ

Hope everyone had a good time!

This was a great class and great company. Thankyou @Braden-Hallett for organizing it. You always do such a great jobπŸ™‚
I did one more silhouette with multiple light sources because I failed with the gate image😬.

As a personal final assignment I’m going to color Will Terry’s cabin kitchen drawing from the downloads. Anyone want to do a final with me?πŸ€“πŸ˜Š

I look forward to seeing it! I think I'm just gonna keep up the momentum with the little studies. They seem to be helping πŸ™‚

I'm going to attempt to do another study or two of each one so it sinks in more πŸ™‚

thanks @Braden-Hallett for leading us through it the last 9 weeks! It sure pushed me to get the studies done πŸ™‚

@Coley You're welcome! I think the light studies will keep taking up a lot of my time, too
