        @xin-li These are delightful! I generally gravitate to traditional. But when I was using Corel essentials I loved their pencil.

          @xin-li i love these.
          I have a mechanical Pentel pencil that is rubber banded to my sketchbook. I’ve had it for decades. If it ever breaks I’m going to be very unhappy. 😶😜

            I am gonna try and draw every day this summer. I asked my Facebook friends and family to send me free photo references and I would use the drawing techniques I am reviewing on SVSlearn to draw them and they can feel free to share them.
            Here us today's WIP:

              I found a vintage picture of a little girl standing on a crocodile and was inspired to illustrate my own take:

                  @xin-li These are fantastic! My go to pencil for sketching is a simple HB, because I can keep it light and cut down on smudging, since most of my drawings will be inked over and cleaned up after the drawing is done.

                    This was my entry for scbwi “masks” prompt. It was a hard prompt to make cute! I turned the masks into butterflies. Still trying to smash some texture in there as my newest sort of expiriment with style.

                    And now I’m finishing up my mermay but cant decide which color scheme to go with . That’s the trouble , at least for me, with digital! I can change things so fast I get stuck going back and forth and can’t decide 😂 I am sure it’s not just me!

                    I think I might go with bottom left. I feel like blue is too predictable for water and sky, but I had originally wanted a night time scene so they’re darker. Anyhow I’ll figure it out in the end lol

                        I did some Clone Wars fan art of Obi Wan Kenobi

                        It just sort of came out in this style. I love the angle and tried doing a flickering/power effect for the lightsaber. I’ll upload those files when the Wordpress upload cooperates.
