Our SVS Virtual Studio JULY 2020 π₯
-
What is everyone working on this month?
Imagine you are walking through a studio silently looking over peopleβs shoulders at their work. This is NOT a place for critiques. You may applaud, encourage, ooh and ah only.
Is anyone going to do Christmas in July cards?
I'm behind schedule, I don't know if I'm going to get mine out this year. -
This weekend I went on a fun and gorgeous backpack trip. And Scrapbear got to go with. So Iβm playing with her fun little pictures again. -
I realized my portfolio had very little diversity so I whipped up this take on little red riding hood. Sheβs got places to go and people to see!
-
I cannot imagine why but when I sat down yesterday to sketch for fun, this guy appeared. His name may or may not be Clyde.
-
Technically drew this at the end of June but never posted it. So here's some strawberry picking for you!
-
I love the studio tour, so inspirational!
Ive been running some summer art camps for kiddos in our circle that cant go to their regular camps for the summer:) Last week was watercolor illustration so I decided to brush up on my own!
-
This is my first time doing a 2 page spread. I was inspired to do a snowy scene after seeing @NessIllustration βs beautiful Red Riding Hood recently!
-
I was feeling inspired by the live demo with Brooklyn so I wanted to do a simple fun gesture illustration.
-
@carlianne so sweet!
-

Feeling patriotic and artistic this morning...
-
Finished this piece yesterday. A kid and his cat pretending to be pirates! I'm thinking it might be a good drawing for my (in-the-making) portfolio. Just would need to polish it up a bit
-
still need to tweak the color on these in photoshop
-
@Katie-Kordesh The little girl in the tub is so cute! I love this piece. It reminds me of my daughter.
-
This is Pulse - I painted him in Procreate to try out some new Procreate brushes for oil and w/c (excellent BTW - from TipTopBrushes). I see Pulse's posts pop up on Facebook and he always signs off "for my ladyfriends" so I thought it very likely he would be giving them a wink!
-
It was not technically work because I did it for fun as a new iPad wallpaper but I wanted to share it because I really enjoyed how it flowed when I drew it
I've been drawing space scenes lately. I love playing with colors and nebulas and then filling it with stars of all kindsIt actually came after this:
