Thank you to everyone that has submitted something! There are still a few hours left to post an image you created for Inktober this year for a chance to get it critiqued on next weeks Jump Session.
I seem to lose focus and clarity when my pictures get busier. I'd love to learn how to improve that!

Submitting my piece for “rip” (hope it’s ok that it’s mixed media).
This is my Inktober2020 music illustration. It’s the fastest illustration I’ve ever made! So just for that, I’m happy... I did struggle a bit with the lights, I wanted these super cool stage lights, but not sure I achieved that... wish I’d had more time for inktober this year! So much work...

Thanks so much guys! Pointing out the more 3D elements vs flat was something I couldn’t pinpoint but was struggling with. And concept/story has been my biggest struggle. But it’s good to know the other elements I have been focusing on (composition, value and rendering) are working.
Watching everyone else’s critiques was helpful too.
I definitely hope to see more of this style of critique if y’all have the time for them
