I had a hard time with this page. There is not as much contrast as most of my other pages so I would love a critique to figure out what I could have done better.

My first Inktober and this was my entry for Sleep. Lots of room for improvement, I know, but would love some expert guidance.

I had a really hard time figuring which artwork I wanted to showcase..
So I chose the one that I feel something is off, but can't really find what. Day 23,Rip!
I still like how it came out though. 😊😊😊
                    Thanks for the opportunity!!

Thank you to everyone that has submitted something! There are still a few hours left to post an image you created for Inktober this year for a chance to get it critiqued on next weeks Jump Session.

I seem to lose focus and clarity when my pictures get busier. I'd love to learn how to improve that! dc2df0a2-4870-4005-8dc4-1b4180f0ac08-image.png

This is my Inktober2020 music illustration. It’s the fastest illustration I’ve ever made! So just for that, I’m happy... I did struggle a bit with the lights, I wanted these super cool stage lights, but not sure I achieved that... wish I’d had more time for inktober this year! So much work... 😞

Thanks so much guys! Pointing out the more 3D elements vs flat was something I couldn’t pinpoint but was struggling with. And concept/story has been my biggest struggle. But it’s good to know the other elements I have been focusing on (composition, value and rendering) are working.

Watching everyone else’s critiques was helpful too.

I definitely hope to see more of this style of critique if y’all have the time for them 😄
