Here’s my entry for this month prompt. It was my first time trying to come up with a picture book style illustration. Normally I’m used to drawing food. Sadly I feel like the colours are not translating the same as in procreate. Probably had some issues there but I wanted to give it a go and challenged myself by trying something new.

@annastenger Thank you I totally see what you mean! I think making parts of the shadows darker would give more definition and get me a bit closer to that elusive finished feeling

@Rebecca-J-Gomez Thank you! That's my favourite part too. After finishing the image I realised I could have gone one notch higher in that drama by having mama bear holding a bigger spoon in a stance suggesting she is ready to use it on the wolf's head. But the more understated approach seems to work too, glad you noticed it
