Hi all. I'm working toward a simple composition with minimal background for this piece. Any thoughts you had on the composition & anything else would be welcome. Thanks!
@IanS I love the line work, great composition. Iām not sure what you are going for in terms of shape, but think it would be nice if the smoke from the dragon appeared more random, rather than flowing into the circle shape. Even if it stopped just short of completing the shape (at the dragons tail), so the eye would have an easy way in and out of the composition.
Wow I love this! Your characters are brilliant - their expressions are wonderful! I think I agree with @inkandspatter about the smoke though, it's kind of distracting me away from the wizard a little bit. Apart from that though, i wouldn't change anything and I can't wait to see this in colour 
I agree as well with the smoke if it led up to the wizard but did not "trap him". But I am very fond of your pencil drawing skills! Your characters have nice eye contact each with their own emotional response to the situation. You really bring out those curvy shapes and lines without needing to circle the wizard with the dragons smoke.

This is great! Love the comic feel of it and you can imagine what the wizard is saying or would love to say.....anyone with kids or pets could relate, I'm sure
