@Neha-Rawat I think that's lovely! I've been playing with digital watercolor brushes lately, but maybe I'll get out the real things and go outside - once the weather gets warm again, that is. Might get frost this week!

Iโ€™m having problems feeling inspired so I just painted a bluebird. (They are nesting in my yard right now.) Not very exciting but at least it was something. (I, too, have been using the 5 color watercolor palette from the SVS course that @Neha-Rawat mentioned and I really like the colors.)

@demotlj I totally get not feeling inspired these days. It's been hard for me to create and not feel intimidated by all of the awesome artwork I see around. But I like the watercolor you did! It's quick, feels very loose (something I've always struggled with myself so I admire people who can do that), and is very sweet.

                        Some WIPs
Water color experiment. I am trying @nadyart's process. I really struggle with this piece. But a lot of fun. I am still working on blending the sterm of the murshrooms into the ground.

This one is done in procreate. I got Kyle's brush into procreate. I am playing with the impressionists brush package from Kyle.

Iโ€™m trying out Leeโ€™s -process that he outlined in his Thursday Jump video a few weeks ago. Iโ€™m sticking to a similar Color scheme because itโ€™s already hard enough to figure out what I am doing lol. This is going to be Luna lovegood in the Forbidden forest with a baby thestral. Lots left to figure out. I had to put Luna in there as the unfinishedness of it all was a bit daunting. Background needs more cleaning up and the foliage needs some cleaning and detail. Iโ€™m not good at foliage or backgrounds but trying to figure it out. The light coming through the trees probably should be less angled like a cone and more rectangular. Iโ€™ll get there eventually ๐Ÿ˜†
Hope everyone is well and safe.

I recently started an art group with a couple buddies from work, because I wanted a) more of an artist community outside of the digital world, and b) felt I could use some more accountability in productivity. We decided we'd all paint my friends dog, and though I'll be making that painting in oil, I wanted to do a smaller, quicker, more illustrative piece in ink, watercolor, and gouache. I've titled this "Bulldogs Suck at Poker."

I've been trying to push my environments a bit while trying to find more consistency. Hopefully it's kind of working? Practice during times like these is both relaxing and rough. lol

@aprilshin Thank you! I think this image popped into my head when I thought of the classic "dogs playing poker" painting and it occurred to me, "Hey, dogs would be really terrible at this. I mean, they can't even read." ๐Ÿ˜‰
