@kayleenartlover there ate also the storytelling collective challenges. They are affiliated with Drivethrurpg and roll20 and have several writing courses and challenges going on during the year

I will suggest to get the ideas down on paper. Because whenever you ask if someone is interested you are giving a second seat to your own interest, and that is what will make your work a great read, if you want to write it, so start small, put a deadline on and go for it.

I like the render quality in the background and the lava in the paws, but i think that most of the problems are with the fundamentals of the drawing. The anatomical structure of the lion is kinda off and i think that you are shooting yourself in the foot while trying a complicated perspective for a piece that is really demanding on textures and lighting. Its obvious the amount of love you put in a project, but i think that your focus should be on the foundations rather than the finishing touches.

@smceccarelli thanks for the reply. So far I am on the same page as you in regards to interiors. My brother who is an art major told me to just keep drawing realistic backgrounds from photos and then my ability to make backrounds more absurd will come much more natural over time. Most of my life my art has been mainly drawing characters and barely much background, so that is why I asked.

Btw, you should definitely make more youtube videos.

I'm working on producing 100 illustrations of fantasy women for a "product-not-project" concept. This is my 11th piece.

I like to come up with random girls and give them all manner of outfits and weaponry and turn them into illustrations for the heck of it, and I feel if I produce them with high enough quality, I might create something I can confidently stand behind at conventions and the like. So I'm going to try putting them in a book.

While I'm not likely to go back and make any changes to this particular illustration, I am interested in any thoughts people might have about the overall impact of the drawing, style, coloring approach, etc., as I have 89 more drawings to do in order to consider this project complete and I'm always adapting and looking to improve as I go along.
