@von_Nimmermehr Hi!

I love the different and easily recognizable fun levels. Except I cannot tell what the the top identifies with, are you pointing to something specific? EDIT: is it suppose to be a flying UFO?

Concerning your perspective, where is horizon line? I ask because I can see a lot of the top portion of the deck in the upper level and very little on the last circus level. If I can't see much of the top I think it's at eye level but then I should see the underneath portion of the top level deck. Do you understand what I am trying to explain? Then you can go through and adjust the other parts. Also the top level looks like it's on a tilt, is that on purpose?

I'd also adjust the top level a bit more to the right, to balance the weight on the left. And maybe lessen the tree foliage on the middle level on the right side, as you add a tiny more weight in tree foliage on the top level (but it may be okay if you move the top level over a bit).

I love the design of the trunk portion! Keep going, I am excited!!!

@von_Nimmermehr Love how this is looking already, especially your dynamic line work and interesting shapes. Like @Heather-Boyd mentioned, maybe take a look at where your camera eye is. It feels like it's midway up the tree. If that's the case, we would see more of the floor of the carousel, and the bottom of the deck of the topmost level. But then, we're also dealing with how the various structures are attaching to the tree.

So, after qritique arena, and seeing other people just having kind of the same idea as me (no hard feelings, i guess it was kind of obvious) I wanted to give it another try.

I kind of liked the ship idea and i thougt it could be nice to have a tree thats looks like waves.

• Do you think i got the perspective right?
  I kind of struggeled here, because the form of the ship is kind of challenging for me.
• would you say, the dynamic/flow is okay here.

you can just draw over if you feel the need. I learn better visually.

since the critique arena is over, it's just about finishing a portfolio piece, because i alsway quit...but i want to have some finished portfolio pieces by the end of the year.

can anyone help me out with the part of the ship i encircled?

I don't know why i struggle so much with this part ô_o
i tried it a few times now but it seems off to me

@von_Nimmermehr I think the top line of your ship’s elevated platform is too sloped.

Basically, as I imagine a straight line coming out of the front of the ship as well as the flat wall you have boxed, I see the lines. Or quite pointing in the same direction. The second level line looks to me like it would be point a little to the left based upon the direction that second level cube’s side is facing.

Is that making any sense?

Everything else looks correct to me.

i dont think so, it fits perfectly into my grid i worked with.
Maybe i made something wrong thoug?

But i was more talking of the raling in the back...i cant figure it out thoug and also i dont know what to do with the front of the "box". just a window (I don't like the window Idea, since there already is a window)? Or a door? how big should a door be? Or how hight, i am sitting on that part for so long now its ridiculous

Have you any recommendations how i can push the values more? i seems its just all the same values or maybe thats something i can fix later?

@von_Nimmermehr I love the concept and the drawing is very lovely.

Have you tried to lighten the value of the tree leaves/waves? That might make the boat pop more for the viewer.

Such a lovely piece, excited to see where you take it.

Thanks @Asyas_illos i really fell in love with this idea and im happy i got it to work though.

@Stephanie-H i made the colors of the leaves a bit brighter, also i changes the color to a liiiiittle bit more saturated.

i think i'm about to finish it. I will sleep over it and take a look at it tomottow again with some fresh eyes.

Do you think it's a portfolio piece? It would be my very first portfolio piece. for now i'm quite happy, i finished it or at least am about to
