Here are a few, really enjoying Fix My Art!

Fix away! ️🩹

This is a book cover idea I had. Never done a cover like this before. Please fix away!

It may be too late to do this, but just in case, here is mine.

A couple areas I find difficult are dusk/night lighting and getting plenty of life in an illustration. I made this piece to work on those areas and I think there is plenty of room for improvement.

These are all great! I see so many great things going on in all of them. The good thing about this lecture series we are doing is we are looking at very specific things in each image. So an image may be working overall, and just need help in one or two specific areas.
So please remember that if you see one of your images and we say it could use improvement in a specific area. : )
We still have at least 7 more of these lectures, so please paste as many images in here as you like! I'm using a smattering of them in the lecture today. I really appreciate you guys putting yourself out there and being open to crits and feedback!

@Lee-White hi is there a link somewhere to attend or do we just hop over to YouTube at a certain time?

Yes please!!! Working on a re-draw of the classic "The Velveteen Rabbit" and trying to develop compositions that are dynamic without being too busy... I'd love a critique! Thank you so much

This one was from my very first prompt I did for SVS "Dragonfly"

@Lee-White Here is one that I did of the poem “The Owl and the Pussy Cat”.
When I made it I was satisfied and thought it would be a good portfolio piece. But now it seems like something is off. Help?

Here is a piece I did using a collage technique. I drew some, photographed some physical items and imported them, and also used some digital layering tricks. My take on the three little pigs.
Thanks for offering the opportunity for scrutiny. I love the style of artists like Melissa Sweet and Emily Gravitt with their collage looking pieces. I am trying to get a similar look to my work.
-
@JennyJones I really like this. Nice job with the collage. The expressions on the pigs are great.

i don't know if i'm to late but i will leave this here.

@von_Nimmermehr This is so wonderful! Concept with ocean waves in the tree. Wow wow! I like how you think.

@Kim-Rosenlof , thanks. It was a new way to do things for me. It was a first and it took forever. But I learned a lot. Next time will be a little bit quicker…I hope.
