Work in progress so far. Not sure which of these two to go with.

Story: little boy decided to make his own cereal. Cereal all over the floor, spilled milk, eating out of frying pan with a wooden spoon. Mom wakes up and finds the mess.

#1 close up of the boy and you only see the leg of the mom in her fuzzy slippers.

#2 wider shot with the mom in the scene. Plan on putting a chair in there to indicate boy climbed up on it to get milk off top shelf and open drawers with stuff sticking out.

I like #1, reminds me of Tom and Jerry just seeing the legs.

like 1 best. All of the focus is on our little chef, and his personal story. the second option feels like there could be retribution and muddies up the message a bit. What a fun idea!

@evilrobot Looking good! my vote is for number one also but maybe with number two's head - i'm having trouble with the scale of the milk jug in relation to the boy and in relation to the woman in number one though...maybe go with a carton instead? hope you don't mind me mucking about on your drawing - here is a quick cut and paste of what i was thinking 🙂

Was thinking maybe if the handle of the pan was pointed at the mom a bit more and not in line with the cereal box it might lead the eye better - this might also give room to show where the baby's other foot is - a bit early for this kind of feedback maybe....Looking forward to seeing you work on this 🙂
