Another attempt at the final assignment, I think I have learned a lesson on having both my vp too tight into the frame where square planes become wonky and distorted with the bed looking a little strange.

@Pamela-Fraley Thank you so much! 🙂 I used colored pencil for the sketching, then used a couple Pigma micron ink pens for the finished drawing. I need to get my hands on a brush pen soon, that way I can really work on my line weight/quality. It's kind of hard to do those things with technical pens.

This is solid! Especially since you mention that you couldn't quite visualize where to start. What you created here is quite consistent with the plan views supplied. Keep at it!

First time posting here. I just finished the introduction to prop design course and I drew a final prop ensemble piece. I just wanted some general feedback, advice or critiques on it.

I had trouble with the lighting because I chose a unique light source and I decide to try and work two of them into the drawing. I don't have very good lighting/shadow knowledge, just what I learned in the basic light and shadow course here. Any help in this area would be great. Also the arrangement of the object seemed a bit awkward to me if you have any advice on that.

@Nyrryl-Cadiz I'm sort of fuzzy on the appropriate way to count. I think I have roughly 40 unique objects. If you count repeats (like the cameras, watches, sunglasses, water bottles, etc.) I have much more.

This LVP is on the third image. And this one looks more like a cube than the third image.

      6FF3E25C-8916-4FF6-9D3C-58F146F329AA.jpeg

I tried one on the horizon line.

This one I struggled with primarily because I rarely draw things in the sky; looks more like a rectangle. RVP is on the first image, same one long roll of paper.

Hey @LauraA, Thank you so much for your very well thought out feedback, I really appreciate it! I agree with the legs of the desk. I never really liked how they looked. I also see what you are saying about the chair seeming like its attached. I'll definitely take this into consideration in future projects!

And very nice detective work on my name haha. You are correct in both guesses!

@Eywin I really like the tree. I agree the car looks a bit rough, but that's why we keep practicing. I've just started this course myself so I'm looking forward to seeing more work.

I'm having a great time taking Shane Hunt's class and would love some feedback on the assignment to design a strong car from his example given. Any feedback welcome!

@ArtofAleksey I got it toned down but then it got crazy again I hope to post soon, it’ll be a strange world. My idea was a mermaid inventor so it should fit for sure in this world. It’ll just be odd haha. I’m excited about it.
