@franksandovalart Thank you as well for the paint over! I like how bright it is and how it really helps the silhouettes. I also love the addition of the girl's headband to allow for her face to show up. I think that I will definitely add that into my new version. Thanks again!

I really like your style and color palette! I think they are both nice. I personally prefer the composition of the Keep your distance one, but both are nice. Here are some minor suggestions. The illustration where the child blowing bubbles has some tangents:

where the knee touches the orange chalk child almost makes it like the chalk drawing is standing on the boy's knees. The bottom bubble is lined up with the bottom of the door. The hair is almost lined up with the bottom of the brick wall.
I love the chalk drawings, they are very fun!

I agree with what the others said already about the eye contact. In addition I think the pice is stronger without the lady with the newspaper. I somehow always start looking at her and wonder why she is hiding there, if anything happens now with her, ... but it is not about her.

@Griffin A potential way to make the hammers work is a subtle shift of the character's pose, so he's turned more toward the viewer, the hammer coming more toward us also. I also agree with @gavpartridge about adding some more dynamism, and maybe having the focus of all three characters in the same direction so that it reinforces that they will be working together to solve whatever problem they're facing.

@Heather-Boyd @Coley thank you for the feedback! I really like the idea of making them pass the crumbs to each other, I think it may be the best solution, I’ll work on it!
