      @Asyas_illos you are totally right! Her nose is barely visible! Thanks!

      @Elizabeth-Erazo Hi Elizabeth!

      Very cute! This looks like a good start.

      She seems to be a bit unbalanced and leans to the right side of the image (mainly the front view). An easy trick to spot this is by mirroring/flipping your image while working. Getting more nit-picky, it looks like there are a few things that are just shy of lining up--such as the angle of her shoulders and the position of her hands. I would check out @carlianne 's video on drawing character turn-arounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9W2fCcCROqQ she just started a YouTube channel and has some very helpful tips!

      Keep up the good work!

      @Shelley-James-0 go to svs learn Instagram page and find the January contest finalists. It was another character design and seeing what they got away with might give you a better idea.

      Haha seems like people are liking the lines, maybe I need to emphasise certain parts with lines and have some parts without lines to satisfy both my likes 😂

      WIP for the Yeti Barbie.
      I'm taking the title maybe more literally than intended 🙂 I thought that an intrepid, but unlucky explorer might have succumbed to the elements and our clever Yeti managed to work out how to use the flare gun to heat the back of a stop sign to provide instant reflected heat for his meaty snack.! I'll hopefully find time to complete the colouring over the next few days.
      Good luck all.

      Thanks for your replies! I’m going to move ahead and do some roughs on 2, 9 and 10. Life got a bit in the way of drawing, so I hope to be able to produce finished results by the end of the month.

      @Cayleen thank you so much for taking the time to explain! That tool sounds very handy! I have to watch a lot of youtube videos on how to work affinity lol.

      I think you're all right. I tweaked it to make it less busy around the flies and stench. Thanks for all your suggestions.

      @Annabishop Awww, it's sad when all the innocent things (like the okay symbol) get corrupted :(. I understand it's definitely always better to play it safe and not accidentally convey something unintentional. I like the modifications you made, adding the more dynamic hand gestures keep that diagonal line which was so pleasing in the second image. Of these two, conceptually I like the one the second one (with the clothes peg) because it reenforces the expression. So fun! Can't wait to see it finished 🙂

      I love this! The only thing that stands out to me is that it doesn't necessarily emphasize the "wafting scent", and I don't know how judges will be about that, but it's a lovely illustration!

      @juliemillardart hi! Looking good. Maybe you can move the secret spice to the yeti’s side and perhaps get rid of the small bowl and mice on the floor?
