@ShereeNorthrup Thank you - yes, it did get easier towards the end there. I used a 0.1 and 0.2 pen for the finer detailes, but tried to use only the brush pen to make the sphere and rays. Getting the ends pointy and the lines accurate was hard, but not impossible (thank God!), and I didn't have quite as shaky a hand as the two previous ones. My arm needs a rest now, but I'll do another this weekend I think, hopefully I will have gained some confidence πŸ™‚

Can't seem to put down the sketchbook these days πŸ™‚ Didn't get anything done last night, but tonight I squeezed in a few more polar bears. I find them difficult because of the blocky shapes - it's hard to tell any structure beneath all the fur and muscle/fat, so they sort of end up looking very flat. So I'm trying to hint at where the joints would be to bring more life to them, and up my understanding of their anatomy.

been bouncing between a bunch of the drawing/painting/inking classes and playing with watercolors. A lot of filled pages in the sketchbook but these are the only ones I have scanned.

Really liking these mediums. I was convinced I would work only digitally, but I'm struggling to get away from the sketchbook to do digital work now πŸ™‚

Looks great! My wife keeps telling me to use watercolor. Right now I am addicted to gouache on illustration board.

Imho I would go with the second. You get a better view of the focus character and its a more dynamic/interesting pose.

There are some brilliant course here. https://svslearn.com/classDetail/-JizJiVMGfEYXNaJgphf which is included if you subscript.

      Good luck. ❀

@Jack-B hey, thanks! It's all good, I appreciate you checking out my work. I'm sure it's pretty hard to provide feedback when disciplines are so very disparate from one another. I'm just sharing and basically trying to improve with every piece. I am really just looking at what others are creating in my journey to figure out where my art belongs...if anywhere.
