Went back to traditional for a while. I draw every day in my sketchbook because I love it. Here are some recent sketches. I also used an online life drawing resource on youtube: Onairvideo. I won't link to it just in case because there is some nudity, but anatomy and figure drawing is pretty important. I've been analysing the form of things more and using reference, but trying to also invent / edit things from it and not be a slave to it, its a fun exercise. I use weird colours because I never used to have a full set of colour pencils until a few years ago, so force of habit, but its not my primary concern in these studies anyway.

I just finished Gravity Falls! What an amazing show! I'd love to be part of a story that good.
This piece will be my tribute.

That's certainly one way to use your experiences to create art. This has the makings of quite a funny piece. I'm eager to see how it develops.

This is my first time making digital drawings. I don't have a tablet or a pen yet, but I do have a touch laptop. So I found this online drawing pad called sketch.io, and made these.

I took the drawing animals mammal edition class, and these are some practice sketches of bears. Practice! Practice! Practice!

@Lynn-Larson Thank you, the next part of the lesson is to do the same with trees. I'll be posting those too. The lesson then calls for selecting one of the trees and one of the houses to actually draw in the detail of how they would look. That should be fun.

Awesome work, I like how the top hat and baseball frog both seem to be checking out the frog in the pink dress lol. Top hat looks sad that he has no chance against the athlete.

      ?

      Hey there welcome aboard.

I believe it would be better if you post some of your works in the main post, instead of leading peoples to a different link. At least for me, when I click a sketchbook, if it's empty I just skip it go to the next sketchbook. I do not really click off-site links.

Just my thoughts. Aside from that, look forward to see what you continue to post.
