@ashleegoovaerts They have an instagram account, but here is their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/305111479690207
Each month is announced on the 7th I think, so January theme should be announced on Saturday.

@ArtistErin Hi Erin, you will find it to be virtually impossible to get accurate or exact match color across digital platforms. And social media companies like IG and FB employ compression to images that are uploaded to their servers. Sometimes it changes the image slightly, sometimes more noticeably.

If you plan to make prints of these images, your best bet is to get your working monitor as close to color correct as you can. If you are only going digital, a color correct monitor will still help, but you are at the mercy of the compression algorithms. Fortunately, IG does have some editing tools to help with uploads, but it probably still won't be exactly what you see on your Cintiq.

@Griffin-McPherson thanks Griffin. I'm hoping I call pull of 20 illustrations with at least one film each category, for a well rounded start to a portfolio.

@Maureen-Henry-Artist That's awesome!!! What a great gig you have!!!! I'm a traditional artist that's been working digitally forever now and I've never really needed to get final pieces into the computer since they were usually done in Photoshop or Illustrator/Freehand (back in the day LOL ) I hope you've tried Procreate because it's really good. Please feel free to ping me if you have question from that end and certainly try and answer them!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!!

Oh if you hit my Tumblr link the first image I posted there was a painting that I did in Procreate.

      Nicely done.
I think if I were to add something it would be to try some cooler tones for shadows in the arch itself to help play off the warm tones of the rock. Might add a bit more depth and interest in that foreground element. ๐Ÿ™‚
