        @Braden-Hallett

        I like A and C - I guess I don't like B because the hair is lighter (high contrast) and the graininess is more evident and it's like dirt/particles of sand stuck in his hair. Hair wise when it is dark I would go with A because C looks too glossy if you want to go with more of a grain. I like boots in C but like the belt and hold the pants up straps in all three versions. The shirt in A and I am just getting lost in liking certain details haha.

          I like the line work of A and the texture/ detail of B. 🙂

            @Heather-Boyd 'hold the pants up straps' is totally how I'm gonna have the character refer to suspenders in the comic 🙂 Thanks for the feedback!

              @burvantill Thanks :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes: I'm rather partial to the linework of 'a' as well. Closer to ink than pencil almost.

                    @Braden-Hallett is it possible to just run texture along terminator/halftone area only? They all look very nice to me but I would vote for A if I had to pick one.

                      @Kevin-Longueil Thanks! It's POSSIBLE to run the texture along the terminator of the shadow only, but I think it'd amount to more work if you get what I mean 🙂

                        @Braden-Hallett I am thinking about what @davidhohn kept saying in class, "Get more by doing less."

                        I would vote whichever of these is the quickest/easiest for you to do. I would agree with @NessIllustration that they all look like your work and there isn't a big difference in delivery... just my 2 thoughts.

                          @Braden-Hallett Ooh, I think I'm in the minority, but I prefer B. With A as a close second. I'm liking the lighter outline on parts of B. All are beautifully rendered, though.

                            @theprairiefox I really do need to remember that 'get more by doing less' 🙂

                            Amount of work's about the same, I think. This has a lot to do with me kinda struggling to make my work look better without tearing it apart first, I think. (I've really gotta do that dream portfolio project)

                                @Braden-Hallett These are really good. I like the line of A and lots of the yellow texture and highlights on B. Maybe mix the two and see what you come up with. Like how your work is evolving! Cool work.
