Has anyone had any experience with the 'hybrid publishing' contract or Olympia Publishers?

@lizardillo that's so awesome! I'm so glad that you passed the information on to her and that she's now better equipped to proceed publishing her book in a more mindful way. Hopefully this will save her from a lot of publishing pitfalls.

And good on you to resist the lure of a paying job and saying that you don't feel that your style is the best fit. That takes a lot of guts and shows how much you care!

@Abigail-Hookham This is so cute, and the bottles definitely stand out more now.

@demotlj Thank you for the feedback! I've changed Lucy's face, not only in terms of shadows and cheeks, but also the eyes, which I've decided would look better if they were closed. I think it's a lot better like this now.

Thank you all for the feedback! It helped me understand some notions about shadows, focus of the illustration and illustrating the faces better ♥

@Lynn-Larson Thank Lynn. That tree was a lot of fun! I don't have my technique down yet so I wasn't too confident when I started rendering it. But with some play and trying different brushes it came out well.

Last submission here, I promise... I think, hehheh. I submitted my illustration last night and became restless thinking of all the details that would help push the image. I added some falling leaves to the tree, some sparkles and an abstract tool to the toolbox. I am much happier with the results now.

Thank you all for the kind words and comments! Happy 3rd Thursday.
