I tried working on this one a little more, but I think I may just move on. In the end, I did learn some cool tricks on photoshop that I can use on later pieces even if this one didn't work out. @valerie-light Yes. Good call. I was thinking of that late last night as I was sketching some more. I noticed that the hands of the giraffe and the Rhino are more animal and the bunny is more human... I'll have to think about that and change some things. Thx for your feed back!

@griffin This looks great! I really like the blue interior too, and also saw Riley as jumping for joy. My only thing is that I found the colour of the road and the robot a bit similar, so I wondered if you could add some glow from the sunset onto it's body to make it stand out a bit more?

@frogpunzel cute concept! maybe the cat can be peering into the tub, like curious but doesn't notice the large bubble coming toward it. Or chasing the large bubble that is carrying the other kid away.

@valerie-light I just love the solidness/solidity (?) of the objects, it looks really believable! I think a kid would have fun looking at all the details. I like all the varied line widths, the values, and the way you drew EVERY brick without it looking forced. I also love the faded spaceship in the background for the same reason. I agree that some color would add even more. You could always submit it both ways. Nice!

@miriam Yes, he's carrying the water bottles. I can attach the leash to the harness of the water pack. Thanks for the idea.:)

I like the color & texture. (It may have a tough time standing against bolder images in the 'Arena', but I think it works well).

I was worried Riley was looking bird-like. Hopefully, some cleanup and adjustments will make him read as a sloth more clearly. I'll also work a bit more on the cheetah.

@Holumpa Oh, I never thought of making the truck step--I like that idea. I'll play with it a bit to see if I can make it work. I'm also torn on the "It's Alive" for similar reasons; I'll have to think about that a bit more 🤔 Thanks!

@stayhomejoe So nice to see traditional art, it looks great. I think the children lack some depth compared to the super dimensional environment, so I'd suggestion adding some more depth (more rounded cuffs, stripes, pockets, etc.) and even exaggerate it a bit . The other thing I would suggest is to flip the canvas. Something looks off and I think if you flip the canvas, you'd have a better idea of what that is.

Hi, so I reworked my Tiger piece adding more value because I am not restarting this work from scratch. Thank you everyone for your contribution and all the additional story advice I will take with me into future work. But I wanted to show you the little I was able to add. Also added the b/w version of the redo below and the b/w of the first to compare. It's going to take me some practice.
